my approach

In my coaching practice, I use my extensive professional training, practical experience and my intuitive ability to reframe and clarify to help you see challenges and opportunities in a new light. I will be your champion and guide you through core issues and help you take positive and productive action. 


I'm known for being empathetic yet honest and direct. I'm also known for asking probing questions and for providing multiple perspectives and insights. These qualities are the foundation upon which I've built an effective leadership coaching approach that gets results.


My job as your coach is to provide an engaging, non-judgemental, safe and confidential space where we can explore and identify actions that will lead to the outcomes both you and your organization value.  While every coaching engagement is unique and co-designed around your specific needs, the following framework is the glue that holds the process together: 


  1. Self-awareness - using the simple and highly credible Kolbe A Index, we uncover your natural gifts and instinctive ways of taking action and apply this knowledge to the leadership issues you bring to our sessions.
  2. Expectations - we uncover what effective leadership looks like in the eyes of your organization and how it's going to be measured. 
  3. Gaps - we do an analysis to determine the gaps between where you are and where you need to be and work together to set specific and relevant coaching objectives. 
  4. Check ins - regular check ins ensure our focus is where it needs to be and allows us to recalibrate when necessary. 


I deliver coaching sessions in person for clients in the Guelph/Kitchener/Waterloo and greater Toronto area. For North American and global clients we connect virtually via phone or video conference.
